Burner Performance

PSI are currently developing systems to monitor burner performance, with the aim of accurately detecting when maintenance is required. These systems combine PSI machine vision technology with sonic detection techniques to determine how effectively the burner is working. This allows for a comprehensive model of a specific burner to be produced and monitored automatically using PSI software, which alerts operators when necessary. Accurate monitoring of the burner means that cleaning and maintenance occurs at the correct time, so that resources are not used incorrectly and the burner can be kept running efficiently for as long as possible.
